So the modern day Macbeth and Macbeth have much in common. Which is that they both have the same qualitieS. They first start of as a regular person who is good and then they developed to turn into something different and gory. The difference is the actual event happening story of the person. Also the time of this persons happenings. I find this interesting that Macbeth has people that are like him in some ways.
I think a modern day MacBeth is Donald trump. Some similarities are they both have cause harm to the civilians in their town or country. Donald Trump has created bans on immigration from certain countries and wants to build a wall to keep people from coming in (they are innocent). He also discriminates against minorities and tries to pass laws that ban women from choosing what they want to do with their own bodies. Macbeth on the other hand, killed Banquo and Macduff's family. He left Macduff and many other civilians in his town to mourn the loss of four people. The decisions Macbeth made were at the expense of everyone else and only for the benefit of himself. Some differences are that Donald Trump has not killed anyone. Macbeth has had evil doings to his own modern days unlike Trump he has tried to keep his country safe. Macbeth did work for that position by killing Duncan, but Donald Trump had to work and essentially earn his position as President of the United States. He had to compete against other candidates and that means there was a possibility he would not be president. In conclusion president Donald Trump is like the modern day Macbeth.
